Long, pale, ribbed, 3 ft fruits are crisp, juicy & sweet. Best when picked at about 1 ft & 2-3" in dia, Never needs peeling, is burpless & easy to digest plus an excellent slicer, good in salads. Apart from it's size & unusual ribbed skin, if left to grow on the ground, it will grow into strange twisted shapes like a snake's coil, yet if grown on a trellis will grow straight.
