About Pennard Plants
Pennard Plants is a small nursery run by owners Chris Smith & Mike Milligan to provide an ever-increasing range of edible plants and heritage seeds alongside an amazing selection of Agapanthus.
We grow using natural methods and all our plants are produced in a traditional, soil-based compost and without the use of chemicals wherever possible.
Our specialities are Heritage and Heirloom seeds under our ‘Growing Old’ brand, many trialled in our own vegetable garden, Fruit trees and bushes (heritage varieties where possible) and other plants for the kitchen garden including Rhubarb (12 varieties) Herbs and Seed Potatoes (80 plus varieties in season).
We have an extensive collection of Agapanthus and offer around 100 varieties as strong, pot-grown plants of flowering size. We only sell established plants of a size to give satisfactory results when planted in our customers’’ gardens.
We believe we can offer first hand advice about our plants and welcome your questions either face to face at the shows we exhibit at or by telephone, fax or e-mail.
Please note, we are not a wholesale nursery and although we welcome enquiries from our fellow nurserymen we may not have sufficient quantities to satisfy your requirements. We offer a discount structure for larger orders from Landscape Designers and are pleased to advise on suitable varieties for planting schemes.
We are members of the Horticultural Exhibitors Association.
