Mint, 'After Eight' (2 litre pot)

Mentha x piperata. A vigorous grower with one of the strongest flavours in the mint family. Dark green leaves with a distinct chocolate-mint flavour. Probably best in a container as it spreads freely. Well-drained, rich soil is best. The flowers are attractive to bees and hoverflies. Priced for: 2 litre pot

Use: Gives a distinctive chocolate-mint flavour to foods. Make mint tea, add to desserts such as ice cream or muddle the leaves in a mojito.
