Apple, Spartan - Stepover

Trained in a 'stepover' shape, this is a very low-growing tree, on dwarfing rootstock (M27), that is ideal as a low, decorative and productive border for lawns, flower or vegetable beds. Height approx 40cms.

Malus domestica on M27 rootstock. Canada 1900's. Related to the famous Canadian McIntosh apple. Produces heavy crops of deep maroon-coloured crisp juicy apples with an excellent refreshing sweet flavour. Ready early Oct. Uses: Eat fresh and juice. Also makes a very good pollinator for other apples. Priced for: a stepover tree in a 7.5 litre pot
