Rubus armeniacus - Native to Armenia and Iran. The fruits are dark purple/black and are larger and sweeter than the common blackberry, making it a valuable addition to the fruit garden, however it can be very vigorous in growth, so is more suitable for a large garden or the allotment. Will tolerate light shade. Deciduous. Prune back the stems that have fruited in late autumn. Priced for a 2 litre pot
