Salvia officinalis, Centurys Old Perennial Kitchen Herb , There is no mistaking the unique smell of Garden Sage, For centuries its been used as a kitchen herb,(sage has a slight peppery flavour) to flavour meats & sauces & has also always worked well as a decorative herb. Cultivated for culinary & medicinal purposes,( as a digestive treatment), for many centuries throughout Europe. Hardy, will stand any normal winter outside.
