Helianthus annuus, Solid and Bi-colour Bright Warm Colours, A classic variety producing numerous long-stemmed flowers from summer to late autumn in a variety of solid and bi-colour bright warm colours including golden yellow, bronze, brown and burgundy. Each plant produces numerous long-stemmed flowers each with dark centres. The bushy plants will grow from 2 ft to 6 ft high and are covered in 12 to 20cm (5 to 8in) wide flowers.  SOWING - Mainly sown from mid-April to the end of May. It’s best to sow into the garden (or outdoor containers) after the danger of spring frost has passed. Sunflowers dislike having their roots disturbed, so they direct-sowing instead of transplanting. Plant 1 inch deep & 6 inches apart. They're easy to grow, & you don't soak sunflower seeds before planting them. It doesn't matter which way up the seed is placed, it will right itself as soon as it starts growing.
