Hesperis matronalis, Dame's Perennial - Night Scented Gilliflower, A mix of both types of  Dames Sweet Rocket, Also called: Mother-of-the-evening, or White Sweet Rocket / Purple Sweet Rocket, Charming, large spikes in early to mid-spring of single, lilac flowers which emit a delicate aroma that intensifies during the early evening. It’s an attractive & cheerful flower, &  a colourful addition to a decorative border to attract butterflies. Biennials or short-lived Hardy perennials typically produce a low-lying rosette of foliage first year, in subsequent years, blooming & seed production occurs in tandem throughout the blooming season.
