Cucurbita pepo, Cylindrical & Sweet - Outdoor Bushy  type, A most handsome and productive variety, bearing an abundance of glowing golden-yellow fruits of elegant cylindrical form. Possessing a notably mild and sweet flavour, with delicate creamy-white flesh, it offers a pleasing alternative to the ordinary green sorts. The bushy plants are remarkably easy to harvest from, the brilliant fruits standing out clearly amongst the foliage. Gather when 15-20cm (6-8in) long for the finest eating. The young fruits are excellent for pickling, whilst the decorative plants may also find a place amongst ornamental borders.
