Beta vulgaris, Pink Chard, (Circa 1880) 60 days - Neon, hot pink chard is so pretty & a delightful alternative to the standard chard varieties. The tender, sweet stalks & ribs in the leaves are all vibrant pink in colour. Pick when young for a delicious addition to gourmet salad mixes or cook as normal Chard, Hardy through the winter, so do successional planting a little at a time, Treat as a Biennial, Seed Count Approx - 50 avg 

 SOWING - Sow in 23-30cm rows, spacing seeds 10cm apart in drills 2.5cm deep from mid-April. Will grow well in most soils but does best in the well-manured ground in full sun. Do successional planting from March to Aug to provide fresh crops (perennial)
