Capsicum annuum, Flavourfully Hot - Short Bushy for Containers, A real looker of a new Burpee variety with a compact (30 to 45 cm height) and very well-branched habit that can be grown in a large pot (35–40 cm diameter) and also in the soil. A prolific producer of pendulous (hanging) chillies up to 8cm inches in length, produced over a long season and can be harvested when green or red.   SOWING - Peppers require a long, warm growing season. Sow indoors Early Spring or approx 8 wks prior to transplanting, 1 cm deep & provide constant moisture & a warm soil, germination is sometimes slow to start, once seedlings develop 2-3 true leaves, transplant into separate permanent containers or ground with some protection, Best in a greenhouse.
