Hooker's Onion, also 'Hooker's Chives'. Wonderful long-flowering allium with masses of white drumstick flowers that flower into late autumn and are very attractive to pollinating insects. All parts are edible; the bulb and leaves are eaten raw or cooked, and the flowers are eaten raw or as a garnish on salads. The plant is said to repel moles. Hardy, deciduous.
