Rosmarinus officinalis cv (now Salvia rosmarinus). Frost hardy, evergreen perennial, Ht. 60cm. Small pale blue flowers in spring are attractive to mason bees, honeybees and bumblebees. Short dark green, ginger scented, needle-shaped aromatic leaves. Good compact, upright habit. Great culinary flavour. Priced for: a 2 litre pot.
Use: The perfect accompaniment for slow-roasted lamb, and good in tomato and pasta dishes. Also delicious added to cocktails and made into syrups
