Chilean Guava 'Ka Pow' produces larger berries than the common molinae species, and also produces them at a younger age. It is a slow-growing, dense, evergreen shrub with small aromatic, dark grey-green leaves. In summer it bears white and pink bell-shaped flowers followed by purple-red, edible fruits that taste like wild strawberries. The fruit was said to be Queen Victoria's favourite food. Sun or part shade. Hardy evergreen shrub growing to 1 metre. Priced for a 9 cm pot, young plant which will need to be potted on before planting out.
