Also known as Society Garlic. This unusual and rare white-flowered form is indigenous to southern Africa. A vigorous clump-forming perennial with narrow strap-like green leaves and umbels of white flared flowers from June to November. Leaves and flowers are edible. Gives a pleasant garlicky taste to salads and dishes without the 'unsociable' aftertaste, hence its name. Ht: 40 - 60 cm. Priced for a 1.5 litre pot
