Elaeagnus umbellata - Autumn Olive. Long oval-shaped silvery leaves with wavy edges, turning green later in the season. Fragrant creamy-yellow flowers in the spring, followed by orange-red sweet, edible fruits in September to October. This bushy deciduous shrub will grow out to around 4 - 6 metres in 5 to 10 years. Elaeagnus appreciates a sunny to lightly-shaded habitat. Eat the fruit straight from the tree when fully ripe, or use to make jam. Priced for: 1 litre pot
