Fagopyrum cymosum - Herbaceous perennial, growing to 1 metre tall. Dies down completely in winter. Any soil, in sun or part shade. Most soils, as long as well-drained. Sun or part shade. Priced for a 1litre pot

Use: The leaves can be eaten raw but are best cooked, boiled or steamed and used as spinach. Rich in vitamin B6. The seeds are edible too
