Cornelian Cherry. A small tree which produces delicate, yellow flowers early in spring and large, shiny, red fruits in autumn. The fruits are very astringent and can be used for jams, jellies, compotes and preserves. Pick: mid September. Very hardy, best in full sun, eventual height to 5 metres. Self fertile.
