Melissa officinalis Mandarina. A rare variety of perennial balm; just as intensely aromatic as traditional Lemon Balm, with a strongly mandarin orange-scent. In summer, small white flowers full of nectar appear, attracting bees, hence the genus name Melissa - Greek for 'honey bee'. Deciduous. Well-drained soil, full sun. Height: to 30cm. Priced for a 1 litre pot
