Ribes rubrum - A late fruiting variety with a strong, dense, upright growth habit. The fruit is large and firm, hanging in long clusters, and keeps well on the bush. The currants have an acidic flavour with a strong aroma and are suitable for a whole range of purposes. Will grow well in most soil but prefers a sunny position Eventual height: 1.5m, eventual spread: 1m. Cropping season: late July/early August. Priced for a 3 litre pot
