Lonicera caerulea - An attractive, small shrub which yields fabulous crops of a berry resembling a small blueberry and with the flavour of blackcurrants and blueberries but an unmistakeable edge of honey. This variety is from the States, delicious tasting, and the fruits are produced from early May onwards. Grow with another variety to promote good pollination and heavier yields. Hardy to -15°C or so and happy in sun or part shade. Grows to around 1m high and wide. Normal garden soil is sufficient; ericaceous soil is not required. Priced for a 3 litre pot
