Trained in a 2 tier espalier shape, this tree will grow quite happily against a wall, or form a 'natural' divider in the ornamental or vegetable garden.  

Pyrus communis. Rootstock: Quince A (semi-vigorous). A trained 2-tier espalier tree that is ideal for growing against a wall. First exhibited in 1885 and probably the best all round pear, well flavoured juicy fruit when ripe, also good as a culinary pear. Self-fertile, pick September, use October-November.
