Rubus fruiticosus - This relatively compact virtually thornless variety only grows to 90 - 150cm so it is ideal for the smaller garden. It bears a lovely display of rose-pink flowers followed by large juicy blackberries in mid-summer. It has a semi-erect habit, meaning it requires little or no support. Prune out old canes after fruiting to keep it productive. This variety will tolerate shade. Priced for a 3 litre pot
