Trained in a 2 tier espalier shape, this tree will grow quite happily against a wall, or form a 'natural' divider in the ornamental or vegetable garden. 

Pyrus communis. Rootstock Quince A (semi-vigorous). The connoisseur's pear. A classic French pear from the early 19th century, which has long been popular in England. Medium to large light green conical fruits, tender juicy flesh with a distinctive flavour. Pick fruit in late August whilst quite hard, then leave to ripen in store.
