Prunus domestica - An old favourite originating from Worcester/Gloucester before the1920's. The name comes from the tree's spreading and drooping habit. A good all-rounder, being suitable for both eating fresh or cooking. The large yellow fruit is juicy and has a good flavour. Pick mid-August. Self fertile. Priced for: a Fan-trained tree
