Malus domestica. Known as 'The farmer's wife's apple', this smallish, bright green dual-purpose apple was once grown in almost every garden and orchard in Yorkshire. Crops consistently and prolifically with the added bonus of very attractive pinkish-white blossom. A strong grower with a vigorous branching habit. Pick: November, use December to March. Priced for a 2-tier Espalier tree
