Mulberry, 'Mojo Berry' (dwarf)

Morus rotundiloba - Mulberry fruit has a short shelf life and does not transport well, which is why you rarely find it on sale in the shops. The answer is to grow your own! Until recently this would mean finding the space for a large tree, something most of us don't have.

Winner of the 'Plant of the Year' award at the 2017 RHS Chelsea Flower Show,' Mojo Berry' is a new variety of dwarf mulberry with a bushy, compact habit, and although compact it will come into fruit early in its life. White flowers in May are followed by sweet, juicy berries through to November. Maximum height is 1.5 metres. Priced for a 5 litre pot.
