Mulberry, 'Mojo Berry' - quarter standard

Morus rotundiloba - Mulberry fruit has a short shelf life and does not transport well, which is why you rarely find it on sale in the shops. The answer is to grow your own! Until recently this would mean finding the space for a large tree, something most of us don't have.

'Mojo' is a variety of dwarf mulberry with a bushy, compact habit, and although compact it will come into fruit early in its life. White flowers in May are followed by sweet, juicy berries through to November. This quarter-standard bush is both ornamental and productive, and can easily be grown in a pot on the patio or balcony,as well as in the garden. Maximum height is 1.5 metres. Deciduous. Very hardy (down to -20C)
