Morus alba x rubra - A compact form of mulberry with a manageable size for small gardens or even containers, growing to 2 - 2.5 metres. It gives high yields of delicious, sweet-tart black fruit. Discovered by Lewis Gerardi in Illinois it is a natural hybrid between Morus alba and Morus rubra. This tree can be pruned in late winter into a bush or small tree if required.
