Strawberry, Alpine, 'Mignonette'

Fragaria vesca - A trailing, semi-evergreen French variety that's easy to grow in almost any situation, although it will produce most fruit in full sun. Ever-bearing, producing small sweet teardrop-shaped berries from late spring into autumn. Unlike other alpine varieties it tends not to send out many runners so is easily kept under control.
