Seed Potato, Apache - 1 kilo

Second Early/Early Maincrop. Waxy. With a very eye-catching appearance, producing red-skinned round mini tubers which have attractive cream coloured patches. The yellow flesh has a slightly waxy texture. Apache makes good colourful new potatoes, and has an excellent, buttery, chestnut flavour. The distinctive colours remain if the potatoes are blanched before roasting whole in their skins. Apache is also lovely steamed or roasted. Good resistance to bruising and splitting. Priced for 1 kilo
