Runner x French bean Phaseolus coccineus , A recent introduction, a self-pollinating cross between a runner and a French bean, so you don't need good weather or bees to ensure a bumper crop. White flowers are followed by high yields of fleshy stringless pods up to 25cm long with the looks of a runner bean & the smoothness of a French bean. The good flavour too, making this bean a winner all around. It crops early & continues even during poor weather. Good for colder climates. Ht to 3m. Seed count approx 20.
