Runner Bean, White Lady

Phaseolus coccineus. The white flowers of this lovely runner bean are less prone to bird attack, and go on to produce very high yields of long tender stringless beans, even in very hot summers. The tasty succulent pods have a smooth texture and need very little cooking, especially if picked when still quite small.
