Broad Bean, Bunyards Exhibition

Vicia faba. Pre 1835. Tall white-seeded 'Longpod' type which gives reliably high yields of fine-flavoured white beans (6 to 8 beans per pod), and probably our heaviest cropper. Maincrop plantings begin in March and then at monthly intervals until the end of May to provide beans throughout the summer. Approx 14 weeks to maturity. Can also be sown in Autumn to over-winter for an early Spring crop. Suitable for home freezing. Seed Count Approx 25
