Vicia faba. Pre 1835. Tall early Victorian period white-seeded 'Longpod' type which gives reliably high yields of fine-flavoured white beans (6 to 8 beans per pod). Suitable for home frezing. Maincrop plantings begin in March and then at monthly intervals until the end of May to provide beans throughout the summer. Approx 14 weeks to maturity.
