Cucumis sativus, All-Female - Vining, Greenhouse Variety, (F1) A remarkably heavy yielding ‘Frame type’ Smooth, Green, Slicing Cucumber with the advantage of being all-female flowering. This vining variety is a superb performer across a range of climates but is best in an unheated greenhouse or polytunnel. One or two fruit, with a delicious, crisp, juicy flavour, are produced at every node & grow from 12 – 15 cm in length (4 to 6 ins). Good resistance to powdery Mildew, some resistance to Downy Mildew & Cucumber Mosaic Virus. (Non-ridge), Seed Count Approx - 12 avg
 
 SOWING - Best sown in a propagator between Mar & Apr, or May to June if sowing seeds directly outdoors. Sow seeds on their sides at a depth of 1cm in 7.5cm pots of free-draining, seed compost. Transfer young plants into 25cm pots late Mar (heated) or late May (unheated). Keep evenly moist – little & often is best. Train main stem up wire or cane. Pinch out side-shoots 2 leaves beyond a female flower. feed every 10-14 days
