Sized at 5 in x 8in & weighing in at 5-7 lbs, a traditional oblong shape, with deep dark green -rind & that very sugar-sweet red flesh. Growing on 4-5ft vines, these are real sweeties & drought tolerant too. Plant about 3 - 4 ft apart.  SOWING - Watermelon needs warm soil. Start seed inside mid-March to April, Don’t transplant seedlings into garden until soil is warm & well above freezing (20 to 25C - May) and provide some protection from slugs, plant about 3 to 4 ft apart - Heavy Feeders so keep well fed, Can Be & Best grown in Greenhouse
