Tagetes Lucida, Bright Yellow Flowers as a Bee Attracting Herb originally from Guatemala, Bruised leaves have a sweet tarragon-like smell with a hint of anise (almost like a slighter sweeter French Tarragon & NOT BITTER at all like the Russian Tarragon). Golden-yellow flowers late summer. As a Herb, use leaves fresh in salads or tossed in your cooking as a substitute for French tarragon (this is a little stronger) or grow in a border to make a polite, subtle statement to the bees.
