Lavandula x intermedia, Fragrant - Hardy & Upright, (Lavandula x intermedia sp. augustifloria ) A classic variety (2 ft) with aromatic chunky, grey leaves & mauve flower spikes in summer. Also known as Dutch Lavender, Makes a great Low lavender hedge. Alternatively, plant one as a border specimen. Throughout history, it's been grown for its medicinal properties yet, also a tasty culinary herb to grow. The flowers have a strong scent & are ideal for drying & are also very attractive to bees and pollinators.  As with all lavenders, Vera prefers well-drained soil in full sun. Relatively easy to grow, simply cut back the flower stalks after they have finished., Seed Count Approx - 200 avg 

  SOWING - Sow Inside Early Spring in warmth and plant out late spring or Sow insitu outside in late spring to summer, barely covering the seed in soil and water in. Grow in full sun in well-drained soil, Lime is ok, and great for drying, Cut hardback in Spring
