This plant is amazing. It is incredibly hardy throughout heat, dryness and strong winds, I've seen no damage from pests....Well, when they were young the woodchucks ate them down to the ground. but they had an explosion of growth afterwards that is immensely impressive. Very crunchy, lovely plant, just wish it wasn't completely without flavor. Easy to grow, I direct seeded in Spring. Harvested branches often and keeps growing.
