Capsicum annuum, Sweet Long Red Horn, This is an Italian heirloom variety known for producing long, tapering fruits that can reach up to 12 ins in length. These peppers are thick-walled& transition from bright green when immature to yellow & then red as they mature. These have a mild, sweet flavour & firm texture, making them suitable for use raw in salads, fried, stuffed, or grilled. Plants typically reach about 30 in in height & yield heavily, particularly in late autumn. Fruit maturation occurs approximately 70 to 90 days after transplanting, with harvests taking place from July through Oct. Plants grow well in pots on sunny patios better in a greenhouse for full ripening to red. Due to the size and weight of the fruit, It is best to support the plants, Seed Count Approx - 20 avg 

  SOWING - Peppers require a long, warm growing season. Sow indoors Mar or 8 wks prior to transplanting, 1/4" deep & provide constant moisture & a warm soil, germination  is 1-2 weeks, once seedlings develop 2-3 true leaves, transplant into separate containers
