Papaver somniferum mixed, A  Wild, Colourful Jamboree of Mixed Poppies, Papaver Somniferum mixed - (several species - singles) A beautiful & wild collection of purples, pinks, mauves & reds, chosen & grown over many years by a friendly gentleman from London named James, who in his kindness & generosity passed these on to us over several years, in hopes that this would allow a wide range of people to grow & enjoy his colourful choice of poppies of many colours. All sizes from 1 ft to 3 ft  high & they prefer a dryer, not too rich a soil, like a field or meadow.   SOWING - Very easy to grow & self-seeds to some extent, just cast out after the frosts & enjoy. Hardy Annual, 'Sow & forget' seed in situ in Late Spring for limited flowering or best sown for maximum effect  in Autumn for over wintering., Happy in poor soil, in dry conditions, full sun & suitable for a wild garden or flower lawn, or anywhere you want a bright splash of colour with no maintenance
