Flowers, Sweet Pea , 'Lady Nicholson' - Fragrant Spencer (Two Toned Purple / Mauve)

Lathyrus odoratus, Spencer - Two Toned Purple / Mauve on  White - Long Stems,  (Fragrant), A beautifully scented sweet pea with soft mauve-purple markings on a fresh white background. The colour is strongest around the edges of the petals & gently fades towards the centre, giving each flower a delicate painted look. The flowers are large, softly ruffled, & carried on long, strong stems, making them excellent for cutting, garden display, & showing. Their sweet fragrance also makes them a lovely choice for bringing scent into the garden or home. Raised by Graham King, this variety grows to about 160–180 cm & should be treated as an annual. Sow indoors in deep pots from Oct to Nov for stronger early plants, or from January to April for flowers in the same summer. Provide support as the plants grow, Seed Count Approx - 13 avg 

  SOWING - Plant late autumn or early spring in pots & provide winter protection (Cold greenhouse - not heat), plant out in early spring after frosts for best blooms. Plant each seed in starter pot, water once & only again after shoot appears, then water & feed regularly thereafter. Use a good quality compost and plant them about 1cm deep, cover with compost and water them well
