Talinum paniculatum, Adorned with Small, Pink star-Shaped Flowers, Native to the southern United States and frequently cultivated as an ornamental plant, this species features edible lettuce-like leaves that can also be utilized in traditional medicine throughout Asia, as well as in home remedies in the United States. As an annual, it produces dense mounds of chartreuse foliage which are later complemented by slender wands adorned with small, pink star-shaped flowers that mature into distinctive red-orange beads.
