Tomato , Glacier - Compact & Bushy (Swedish Open-Pollinated Heirloom) NEW TO US

Solanum lycopersicum, Open-Pollinated Heirloom, Determinate (Bushy), (No it’s not white) An open-pollinated heirloom tomato variety from Sweden & still widely cultivated in Scandinavia, it grows on compact,  determinate (bushy) plants & is well regarded for its adaptability to cooler climates. Maturing very early in the season  - typically within 55 to 58 days, it reaches a height of  3 ft. This potato-leaf plant offers an abundant yield of attractive, 2 to 3-oz round red toms with a well-balanced sweet & acidic flavour profile. This is an excellent choice for early harvests but will continue to set fruit thru-out  summer. Particularly suitable for regions with cooler temperatures & can be happily cultivated in containers or small gardens. It will be one of your 1st ripe toms of summer & one of your last  in Autumn, Seed Count Approx - 15 avg

  SOWING -  Surface-sown or covered only slightly, Don't allow to dry out but don’t overwater. Keep warm until germination (10 days approx), move to WARM bright light area. After about last frost, transplant out into protected growing pots. Plants need staking & side-shoots removing. Will grow as well inside or out & not fussy about Pots or open ground, Just depends on your needs & space.
