These asparagus plants are supplied as potted crowns. They are more reliable than open-ground bare-root crowns, with no losses, being easier to plant and will crop in the second year. 

A great early season, high-yielding male clone producing thick stems of mid-green spears with tightly-closed purple tips. Harvest April to May.
