Pineapple Guava, Acca sellowaina (Feijoa)

Also Feijoa sellowiana - Of the Myrtle family, an evergreen bushy shrub with grey-green leaves densely white-felted on the underside. In summer, flowers with four red petals, white on the outside, appear before producing edible, red-flushed green fruit. No pruning necessary but remove any winter damaged growth in late spring. Generally pest & disease free. Eventual height 2 metres. Self-pollinating, slow-growing & hardy. Priced for: a 3 litre pot.
