Elder, Sambucus nigra 'Haschberg'

Sambucus nigra - European variety of Elderberry. Bears the largest bunches of deep red-black fruit that we've ever seen at the nursery, with larger berries than standard varieties and borne later in the season. Green leaves and large blooms of white flowers, perfect for making cordials and flavourings. Height to 2.5 metres. These stocky plants have been cut back to 1 metre to encourage growth in the next season. Fully hardy. Self-fertile. Priced for a 10 litre pot
