European elderberry. A strong-growing selection from Austria. Produces large umbels of white flowers in late spring, making it particularly good for picking to make cordials. The deep red fruit ripens from the end of August through to September, often producing up to 200g fruit weight per umbel, significantly above the weights of other varieties. A deciduous shrub growing up to 6 metres if not pruned. Sun or part shade. Priced for a 2 litre pot
