Allium (Edible), Allium schoenoprasum 'Black Isle Blush'

This pretty little low-growing allium is covered with numerous mauve-pink flowerheads in summer. It is happy in full sun, in almost any soil and is wonderfully attractive to bees and butterflies. The leaves can be used in salads as with other chives. Hardy herbaceous, bulbous perennial. Height and spread 20 cm. Priced for: 1 litre pot
