Originally from Germany. The darkest colouration of any chive we grow. The foliage has a distinct blue hue. Makes a useful, edible, neat clump with its wonderful, not too strong onion-flavoured leaves, ready to be cut and thrown on a potato salad. Both leaves and flowers are edible.Trim to about 3cm a few times a year. Height to 30 cm. Best in a sunny position. Bulbous hardy perennial. Priced for: 1 litre pot
